Marco Vinco

Marco Vinco was born in Verona in 1977. After completing in 2002 his law studies, he began singing with Ivo Vinco. Already during his formative years the public and critics highly appreciated his voice and stage presence developed in different experiences of prose theater. From the very beggining he had Mozart as reference composer, having sung Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro or Cosí fan tutte in major centres in Italy and aborad. In addition, his constant presence in the Rossini Opera Festival has made him become one of the most esteemed interpreters of Rossini’s style.

He has been invited to sing in the most important opera houses as the Teatro Carlo Felice in Geneva, La Scala in Milan, Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro San Carlo in Lisboa, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Bunka Muro in Tokyo, Opera Garnier in Paris, Opera de San Francisco or the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, among others.  He has worked under the baton of important stage directors like Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Alberto Zeddar Marc Minkowsky, just to mention some.

In addition to his operatic repertoire that includes pieces by Stradella, Scarlatti, Cimarosa, Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini, Massenet or Meyerbeer, Marco Vinco has also developed an important career in the field of concert and recital. He has sung la Petite Messe Solennelle and the Stabat Mater by Rossini, the Ninth Symphony by Beethoven or the Requiem by Mozart.

Marco Vinco has recorder for labels like Dynamic, Decca, Naxos or TDK, among others.
